Draft for legal review

This document is a working draft prepared for review by qualified counsel before it takes effect. It is published so you can see how DUKOIN intends to operate. If anything here conflicts with mandatory law in your country, the mandatory law applies.

Crypto assets are among the riskiest things you can own. Please read this disclosure before you rely on anything you see on DUKOIN.

The short version

You can lose all of the money you put into crypto assets. DUKOIN does not give personal investment advice, does not predict prices with certainty, and cannot protect you from losses. Every decision you make is your own.

1. Not investment advice

DUKOIN provides research, education and decision-support tools. It does not consider your financial situation, objectives or risk tolerance, and it does not tell you what to buy, sell or hold. If you need personal advice, consult a qualified, properly licensed professional. DUKOIN is not authorized or licensed by any financial regulator as an investment adviser, broker or exchange.

2. Risks of crypto assets

  • Volatility: prices can rise or fall by large amounts in hours. Declines of more than 70% have occurred repeatedly, including in the largest assets.
  • Total loss: projects can fail, be abandoned, be exploited or be delisted, and their tokens can become worthless.
  • Liquidity: you may be unable to sell quickly, or only at a much lower price.
  • Counterparty and custody: exchanges, lenders, bridges and stablecoin issuers can fail or freeze withdrawals. Lost keys and mistaken transfers are usually irreversible.
  • Stablecoins: stablecoins can lose their peg, temporarily or permanently.
  • Dilution: token unlocks and emissions can increase supply and pressure prices.
  • Regulation and tax: rules vary by country and can change, affecting access, value and tax treatment.
  • Fraud and manipulation: crypto markets are exposed to scams, wash trading and coordinated price manipulation, and investor protections may be limited or absent.
  • Technology: software bugs, network outages and attacks can cause losses.

3. Risks of using DUKOIN’s information

  • Data: market data comes from third parties and can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Free-tier data is not real-time tick data. Check freshness labels.
  • Research Score: a relative ranking of current conditions. It is not a probability of profit. A score of 90 is not a 90% chance of profit.
  • Forecasts: statistical estimates based on historical volatility. Real prices can move outside every interval shown, especially during crises. Past forecast performance does not guarantee future performance.
  • Backtests: research backtests are hypothetical, may suffer from survivorship bias and other limitations, and do not reflect actual trading.
  • Scanners and dip flags: identify assets for research, not for purchase. A potential rebound candidate can keep falling.
  • AI assistant: AI responses are checked but can still be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Verify before relying on them.
  • Stress scenarios: illustrations based on stated assumptions. Real events can be more severe.
  • Missing data: on-chain and derivatives data are not yet connected, so some risks are not reflected in our tools.

4. Your responsibility

Only invest money you can afford to lose. Do your own research, consider your circumstances, use secure custody, and understand the tax rules that apply to you. By using DUKOIN, you accept that you are solely responsible for your decisions.
