This document is a working draft prepared for review by qualified counsel before it takes effect. It is published so you can see how DUKOIN intends to operate. If anything here conflicts with mandatory law in your country, the mandatory law applies.
These subscription terms explain how paid DUKOIN plans work. They supplement our Terms of service. In short: clear prices, no fake urgency, cancel anytime.
1. Plans
DUKOIN offers a Free plan and paid plans (currently Pro and Elite), each available with monthly or annual billing. Current prices, features and usage limits are shown on the Pricing page. The price you agree to at checkout applies to your current billing period.
2. Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. Available payment methods are shown at checkout and may vary by country. DUKOIN does not store your full card details. Prices are shown including or excluding taxes as indicated at checkout; where VAT or similar tax applies, it is calculated based on your location.
3. Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current price for your plan, until you cancel. We will tell you in advance, by email, about any price change affecting your subscription, and you can cancel before the new price applies. For annual plans, we send a reminder before renewal.
4. Upgrades and downgrades
- Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current period, as calculated at checkout.
- Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Until then, you keep your current plan.
- If a downgrade takes you below your current usage, for example more portfolios or alerts than the new plan allows, your data is kept but some items may become read-only or paused until you are within the limits.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your paid access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, after which your account moves to the Free plan. Your data is not deleted when you cancel; you can delete your account separately.
6. Right of withdrawal (EU, EEA and UK consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you have the right to withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. When you subscribe, you ask us to start providing the service immediately. If you withdraw within the 14 days, we will refund the amount paid minus a proportionate amount for the service provided up to the time you told us you were withdrawing. To withdraw, contact us through the Contact page with a clear statement of your decision.
7. Refunds
Apart from the right of withdrawal and any other rights you have under mandatory law, payments are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods after cancellation. We may issue refunds at our discretion, for example after a significant service outage or a billing error. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will look into it promptly.
8. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry it, and we will notify you. If payment is not completed within a reasonable grace period, your account moves to the Free plan.
9. Usage limits
Plans include daily and total limits, such as AI messages per day, active alerts, watchlists and portfolios. Daily AI message limits reset each day. Limits exist to keep the service fast and fair, and are shown on the Pricing page.
10. Changes to plans
We may change plan features or prices. Price changes apply from your next billing period after notice. If we materially reduce a paid plan’s core features during a period you have paid for, you may cancel and, where required by law, receive a pro-rata refund.
11. Team and business use
Individual plans are for one person. For team or business licensing, please contact us.
